Yo the Japanese are no joke when it comes to styling with music and fashion. They took b-boying to another level; when you look at the Japanese CD releases of recording artists there's always 1-2 bonus tracks that were not released in the U.S.; their vinyl records are pressed on 180gm VIRGIN vinyl (180gm vinyl is thicker and denser than standard vinyl records, and so the deeper the grooves in the record, the louder the pressing - and virgin vinyl is always going to have a cleaner and newer sound - American companies started recycling vinyl to press records but even when they melted down old vinyl records there is still sound held within it because even though the vinyl was melted there are impurities and grooves from the original vinyls that may not have melted completely); a lot of young Japanese especially when they come to visit they're hittin' 125th Street and downtown Brooklyn to see what clothes we're rockin; and when I see these cats in the 2nd hand record shops they ain't buying 5-10 records - these cats are buying 100+ record easy and they'll bring them back to Japan and make a grip off selling them.
