Peace to the BWB crew and DSJ, Allow me to introduce self. I am Nakwan BG Allah from Medina (Brooklyn). I am originally from Bushwick (not too far from Aberdeen Park). I used to live in Bed-Stuy (Macon btwn Sumner & Throop) and spent much of my time in Carnarsie (Breukelen Projects) with my cousin Divine God (Mix Machine Disco) back in the day. I currently rest in N. Carolina. I don’t get back home like I used to since 911. I used to sell a lot of current designer gear that these cats in the south go broke for. Since 911 a lot of my suppliers got shaky. I’ve been doing the Knowledge on this board for a minute and I recently joined PookSide. I am on the hunt for oldskool NY gear like the rest of you cats. I copped a few pair of RJ’s on Ebay (I gotta get rubber taps put on them) and I got some of those toy GBX’s also. I’ve been wearing Wallabees and Eastlands for too long. I am a former OTR Truck Driver so I have not had much time or opportunity to search for gear. I want mocknecks, cortefiels, sharkskins, and of course Originals Britishers. I am ex-military as some of you are, I am a Marine. I did one enlistment and got out. I spent too much time @ Lejeune. I used to live in French Creek ’84 – ’86. This is just a missive to introduce the God. Peace.

Sup fellas - I'm still around just been a bit busy. Mook I see those 623's and they do look dope but the seller wants a grand for them which to me is a bit too much especially considering the lenses aren't original Cazal lenses because there's no name etched on the lens - that right there can make them worth more. And as rare as the 623's are, I have yet to see a pair of clear 616's - now I'd pay a grand for those - my first pair of Cazal's were clear 616's and I paid $40 for them back in 1983 - go figure. I've searhed many eyeglass spots to see who can do lens engraving but haven't been able to find any. Cazal reissued the 951's recently (http://www.the951.com/) and some sellers are trying to rook people for too much money (what else is new). Funny thing is that I bought a pair off original joints from this dude in Detroit selling them on Craigslist for $400 and retailers are selling them for more than that. For the life of me I hope that Cazal DOES NOT reissue the 616 joints. FWIW I just don't wanna see a whole bunch of people all of a sudden wearing them .... I'd like some mystery and mystique remain to them.
