Mav: I highly doubt anyone here is going to accuse you of having a mid-life crisis. We are all true vintage lovers. I have great love for the '80s, even though I wasn't there. And when I dress '80s, I do my research so I have an authentic look, NOT the nu-rave party look that most of today's uninformed youth think was the '80s. As for the rest of the crew, they were there and REALLY know what it was all about. You sound no different, so welcome and never be afraid to wear your old school gear because of what others might think. Peace everyone .... been a bit busy and hectic lately and coming off the T'Giving holiday back to loads of work. Been putting on my iPhone's iPod lots of classic late 80's to mid 90's rap (getting some inspiration for some tracks I'm about to finally work on). Dayum I can't believe how long I slept on De La's "Stakes Is High" LP/CD, but mainly I'm diggin' the production sounds of Primo, RZA and Prince Paul. On another tip, any chance anyone here goes to Miami's South Beach in March during spring break? I'll be down there next year 3/22-3/28 for the WMC (Winter Music Conference - my ninth one in 10 years). So if anyone's down there at that time we gotta get our Call-A-Cab on @ Wet Willies! Yo Im kinda vexed with that resole place that I used to get my joints creped up. They had my last 2 jointz since the 1st week in November. They sent me an email and said they ran out of the tan crepe but had white crepe also. They wanted to know if they could use the white crepe or did I want to wait for the tan crepe. I told them I would wait for the tan crepe. Well guess what....they used the white crepe.....I should get them in the mail today. Who da F%^K wants white crepe??? Im going to dye the crepe black and see how that turns out...the lady said I could return the shoes for the tan crepe if I didnt like it.......

YOOOOOOOOOOOO,Im at it again the Jakes is inna meetin so Im safe for right now B. Wagz I sent you a message last night sayin the soles was two different colors, I dont think (cuz you know I analyzed em to the fullest)it's two different shoes I think the dude treated em with some sort of homemade or hood solution like clear nail polish or what ever and thats what caused that vast color difference. If you will observe exhibit a.(right shoe)you see the crepe is dark,then when you observe exhibit b.(left shoe)the crepe is a several shades lighter then a.Now if you would observe b. see where the sole meets the shoe you see the same dark color at the heel and again at the front and in the middle of the shoe and at the front where the sole meets. I would venture to say that was caused by something applied to the sole perhaps to preserve the condition and the color of the crepe although it does strongly resemble the crepe on the shoe on oldschoolbritishwalkers.com but the sole on exhibit a. is shiny which points the possibility of a side effect of the product used to preserve the crepe,WHEW! I feel like I just represented myself in the court room LOL.Wagz you could be right B it could be two different joints but whoever wins should get em resoled bcuz the crepe on the rihgt joint looks thinner and more worn than the left.
