Yo CREW wassup, uneek the bottoms are hard because the black BW's got the black bottoms and they shouldn't. They are real, they're just a different style. Just like the different style Jordan's comes out wit time to time, But they still Jordan's. They're not the 80's version we all know and love, they're the 2000 version and something is better than nothing, right. they're real suede, real leather, the sole on all of them except black is a liiiittle harder than the original crepe souls but they aight. Like my Ink said we got to try an get the rights so we can get the original joints plus so new flava dat only ni66's from the street can come up wit and git it poppin' again. Griff, the pic with the olive green joints - those are either the Britishers version or the GBX version of Playboys - in other words they are foooogayzees - look where the double-stitch line is, how it comes up from the sole and then cuts across to the top of the shoe - it's a sharp angle - the official Sanders Playboys it's a rounded edge. Also, where the sole meets the shoe, there is a smoothed out rubberized strip - that's not there on the official joints. Uneek - I think a few reasons why they're different is because of today's technology and mass production of shoes and sneakers. Just like how the Nike AF1's have been redone and redone; just like the Pro-Keds and Puma Clyde's and Basket's aren't exactly identical to the ones made in the 70's. On the original playboy's they didn't come up that high, The R J Colt's are the closest you gonna get to da real joints. I just copped a pair of the Ostrich skin and lizard joints.
