Peace and Love to all my 80's brothas and Sistas if you are peeping. Just got back from my Bus trip to NYC. Found Mikes and just like All Nat said, they are the real deal but only size 10 and the Mustard and Brown's they have 10/5. I copped 3 pair. Two pair, one black on black and the other Tan and Brown. The playboys werent the real deal, but they had good imitations, which i aint bout that. LOL.. I did cop a pair of Britishers playboys which because of the name and quality, will definitely rock them. Mike said he only has a few pair left and will be sold out within 3 days, so if you are going, better get moving. I couldn't find the Mock Necks anywhere. The joint btwn 36 and 37th on 6 ave has some Mock Neck shirt, nothing like the real deal. I am looking for the mocks with the button up on one side of the collar to the neck with the white piping around the collar. Those are the Legit's .. Also looking for the old Shark Skins, any word on them? and if anybody know of where I can cop a Robert Kline Vneck sweater that we rocked over top of the Mocks with the stripes .. let me know.. BTW.. Mike selling the Brits for 50 dollars.. Yes 50 dollars.. and he is aware that others are selling for 120-150, but said, oh well. That man is not hurting for any money.. mr kay it's funny you mentioned Dangerfield and Britishers - the late Sam Kinison used to sport the old skool Bally shoes we rocked - I remember reading that in an interview in GQ magazine mad years ago he said he loved them because they were comfortable - I think there was even a picture of him rockin' a pair. I wish that Mike's had more colors in tie-ups as I'm just not feeling the slip-ons - I don't like the wide leather flap on the top of the shoe.
