Yo I went to that site son the reason I couldn't get in was cuz I was punching in "the" instead of "tha" but yo, I read that interview wit Se-Divine bout 4 months ago in the library but I had to leave so I didn't get to read the whole joint I forgot the link to the site, so 4 months later you had it so good lookin. Growing up in the Bx must have been the truth son being the home of hip-hop I see Bx cats always took this thing seriously and still do. Oh yeah I always loved Whiz Kid that dude was the truth wit the fader but how was it in the 80s up there(Bronx) when it was really poppin off? . Growing up in B-more I always was down, in like 79 my man went to Howard U and he cut into dudes from the nation (Zulu)and he used to spin so he put me on wit dudes from the Bx and I used to ask them question after question man they used to laugh but I was curious.They told me that Sugar Hill was biters when Rappers Delite was out them cats gave me alot and every other dude from the Bx that would move down here so you can imagine when I hit Bk in 85 i knew more than the average dude about the pioneers where they was from who used to be a crew back in the day all-a dat even my cuzin in Bk didn't know what I knew then. In 83 the dude gave me what I call the hip-hop bible a book called,"Rap Attack" alot of books was out then but this was the truth son. So I consider myself an expert on back in the day hip-hop.Yo I listen to Super Rhymes and be like yo aint no reason why this dude and many others can't still make records dem brothers can spit son. Listen to TI and all the dudes in the game now, like Divine said I don't call it rap they should rename it but they rhyme so elementary you can always predict what they gonna say next so why not bring back the old skool they can still go right?
