Griff, the pic with the olive green joints - those are either the Britishers version or the GBX version of Playboys - in other words they are foooogayzees - look where the double-stitch line is, how it comes up from the sole and then cuts across to the top of the shoe - it's a sharp angle - the official Sanders Playboys it's a rounded edge. Also, where the sole meets the shoe, there is a smoothed out rubberized strip - that's not there on the official joints. Uneek - I think a few reasons why they're different is because of today's technology and mass production of shoes and sneakers. Just like how the Nike AF1's have been redone and redone; just like the Pro-Keds and Puma Clyde's and Basket's aren't exactly identical to the ones made in the 70's. It's only a matter of time before Donna Karan comes back out with the DKNY's from the mid 90's; I still have one of my pair ..... http://www.doublepromo.com/dk1.jpg
