A lot of those classic CC4 recordings can be heard on Youtube nowadays. Brings me waaaay back! The last time I remember seeing CC4 was in 1980 or 1981 @ the Boys & Girls Club (I believe it was on Hoe Avenue) in the Boogie Down Bx. Going old skool on y'all, who remembers when the change box on the buses was a big clear glass box and there was a lever the bus driver had to push down to make the change go down? How about when IND line trains (B, D, etc) used to have wicker seats, screw-in light bulbs, and fans that plugged in? Or dare I ask if anyone here used to roll up a spliff or a blunt, dip it in Bacardi 151, let it dry (mandatory!), and then spark it up! How about real ghetto / project boiler makers; pouring out a little Olde E from the bottle, then fill up the beer bottle with some 151 Bacardi! Or just straight up taking a shot of 151 from the cap and then chuggin' on a 40! I can go on and on and on .... done some wild shizzzz in my teens.
